Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Bang! You're Dead

It's a testament to Hitchcock's mastery of the media that, nearly forty years after it's original broadcast, this episode remains both disturbing and topical. Young Jackie Chester loves his cowboy outfit, and when his uncle comes to visit, Jackie switches his cap gun for one he finds in his uncle's suitcase. And so, with a real revolver in his hand, the 7 year old goes in search of someone to play cowboys with. In an excruciatingly painful series of events, Jackie adds more additional shells into the weapon, aims the gun but doesn't strike a loaded chamber. As the chambers fill in this drawn out version of Russian Roulette, his frantic parents race against time to find their son before tragedy strikes.

Marta has a small part - Jackie goes into a local supermarket and while there, encounters Marta as the Jiffy Snack girl, handing out samples to the shoppers. 4 years later, Marta would encounter the child again - Jackie Chester was played by Billy Mumy!
